Formed by Cliff Bishop, East Anglia Books has now been established for over twenty years. As a boy, Cliff developed an interest in World War II Aviation after watching the 8th Air Force in operation from local airfields near his home in Suffolk. He later served in the RAF himself as an engine mechanic on RAF Washingtons (B-29's), and has spent over thirty years in the civil aviation industry as an engineer. Cliff has also researched and written his own book, "Fortresses Of The Big Triangle First" which has now sold over 3,000 copies worldwide, and he is currently working on a new project on the 398th Bombardment Group which will be due later this ye. East Anglia Books has probably, now, one of the largest selections of American Unit Histories worldwide plus RAF Histories and other titles of general interest. Although primarily mail-order, Visitors are welcome to our Premises and we can be found at various Airshows and Open Day Events during the course of the year, which we hope to bring you news of shortly.
