010720 - 306th ECHOES 1975-2000 By the 360th Bombardment Association 2001.  This is the News letter of the Group which operated B-17s from Thurleigh 1942-1945.  Full of photos (some colour) of men and planes and of action stories, post war re-unions etc.  Just about the most informative publication to come from any 8th Air Force Group. 020534    THE KILLING SKY by Japp Van der Kuylen.  An account of the 8th Air Force mission to Germany on 11th January 1944.  This was one of the greatest air battles of WW2.  There were 58 B-17s and 2 B-24s lost in Action.  All losses are detailed with crew names.  There is a minute by minute account of the days action.  Book is A4 size, 152pp, hardback and is well illustrated with black & white photos Was £37-50p  NOW £10.00
