010358 WINTER JOURNEY Through The NINTH; The Author, Harry A Franck was a well known travel author commissioned by the US Army Air Corps to write the story of the 9th AF (and tactical air power in general) in 1944.  He spent the winter of 44-45 with the 9th AF in the ETO interviewing hundreds of airmen, ground crew & the infantry they supported.  The manuscript was completed in 1945 but sadly never published until now.  Paperback, 320 pages.   5 £21.95
